The gold of the future

It seems like you're curious to know what is the gold of the future.

I had a fascinating conversation with my partner recently about it.

We talked about whether AI can replace people in terms of a better conversation partner.

And he said, you know, information now is everywhere.

There's no shortage of information.

Therefore, people won't really value each other for knowledge.

They will value each other for the experience of being with them.

And for the transformational change people can cause.

That means you will not have friends because of what they know or how smart they are.

But you'll value them because they understand you and the connection and relationships you have.

You'll value that they see in you the potential you don't see yourself.

In today's economy, we're still solving the problem of offer and demand, increasing customer reach, finding necessary tools, and hiring the right people.

All of it is becoming less valuable as AI and automation grow and become capable of solving these problems.

I have lost count of how many AI tools we have in the market.

It seems like we have AI pretty much for everything.

Except for human connection, rapport, relationships, and leadership.

That's the gold of the future.

We'll deal with people we like more and feel more connected with.

We'll make business and employ those who can resolve issues while building relationships.

We'll trust people who listen and understand us - emotionally intelligent and supportive people who believe in us.

That's what we'll value more and more as we automate other things.
