What is the most impactful message you can send to your audience?
You probably won't believe me.
This is it:
"I like you."
There was a research of 6700 online commercial sites, considering 26 different factors, such as:
- Free shipping,
- Presence of a search function,
- Call To Action,
- etc.
The most efficient factors in attracting customers were related to the application of Cialdini's Principles of Influence:
- Authority,
- Social proof
- Scarcity,
- etc.
But the top one was about the Liking principle.
The application of it is very simple.
It could be a greeting statement that welcomes people warmly.
For example:
"Welcome to our company. We're very pleased you consider one of our programs. Our team will be happy to provide you with everything you need to succeed."
It seems insignificant, but the research has proven it to be the top performer.
Some people ask if a video message could improve the experience.
Yes, indeed.
A short video would make it more personalized and, therefore, will increase the intended results even more.
